Terms & Conditions:

  • The promotion is applicable to new and existing clients of Phillip Securities Pte Ltd (PSPL).
  • This promotion is open to individuals who qualify as Non-Professional investors as defined in the FAQs on this page.
  • Professional Investors do not qualify for this promotion. For subscription of Live Price for Professional Investors, please click here.
  • Subscribers must subscribe and agree to the agreements set out in the subscription page to enjoy this promotion.
  • Should your status change from a Non-Professional Investor to a Professional Investor, you must inform us in writing to reward@phillip.com.sg.
  • A subscriber, who falsely declare to be Non-Professional Investor but is a Professional Investor, will be held accountable for all applicable penalties and/or Exchange fees.
  • The promotion is valid until 30 June 2024. Client who wishes to renew or extend the subscription after 30 June 2024 may subscribe for the chargeable subscription and pay accordingly prior to activation of the service.
  • All employees and agents of PSPL and its associated entities and subsidiaries (direct or indirect) are not eligible for this Promotion.
  • PSPL cross-border clients are not eligible for this promotion.

Bursa Live Price (Professional)


Q1. What is the charge for real-time market information for Professional Investor?

  • Bursa Live Price subscription fee = S$30 per month (excluding GST)

  • Only Non-Professional Investors are eligible for the free Live Price promotion. Please note that subscriber assumes all liability declaring status as a Professional Investor or Non-Professional Investor and will be held accountable for all applicable penalties and/or the Exchange fees if declaration is incorrect.

    There shall be no refund of the unused portion should you wish to terminate the services prior to the expiry date.

Q2. What is the application procedure for Professional Investor?

  • Professional Investors subscribing to the real-time market data need to submit the relevant exchange agreements to Phillip Securities Pte Ltd (“PSPL”) to seek exchange approval before real-time market information can be granted.

    The agreement should be completed by person/s that are authorized (as per Board resolution) to execute contracts on behalf of the company and be completed using the full legal name of the entity.

    Please complete the relevant Subscriber Agreement and email the scanned copy to reward@phillip.com.sg.

You are a PROFESSIONAL Investor if you meet any one of the following criteria for the entire term of your subscription and you must sign further agreements as well as are subject to the appropriate additional Exchange fee structure:

  1. Registered and paying under a corporate name, association or any legal entity registered with the Registrar of Companies; or
  2. A individual who uses the Subscriber's Service in his capacity as an investment advisor or fund manager of funds which do not belong to him.

You are a NON-PROFESSIONAL Investor if you meet all of the following criteria:

  1. An individual who is registered and paying in his personal name or capacity
  2. An individual who uses the Subscriber's Service for the purpose of managing his personal funds; and
  3. Does not distribute or provide Market Information from the Subscriber's Service to any third party in any manner

The purpose is to ensure that clients understand and agree to the terms of retrieval and use of real-time market data.
For the purposes of the Exchange Subscriber Agreements, real-time market information means the collection or database of information and data known as ‘Bursa Malaysia Market Information’ and which is more particularly described in Schedule 1*, as may be amended from time to time, and shall include data, symbols, information, statistics and other information in letter or numeral form (or both) disclosing, describing, summarising or otherwise commenting on or dealing with the trading of securities and derivatives contracts on the Exchange or such other markets, trading facilities or clearing facilities operated or administered by or for the Exchange.

Phillip Securities Pte Ltd and the Data Provider do not warrant or make any representations or claims concerning the validity, accuracy and timeliness or otherwise of the Information provided herein, nor shall Phillip Securities Pte Ltd or the Data Provider shall be liable or responsible for any claim or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use, interpretation or other implementation of said Information.
If you decide not to accept the Exchange Subscriber Agreement, you will not have access to real-time market information. However, you may continue to view prices with a 15 to 30 minutes delay.

No, you will not be prevented from trading. However, to view real-time prices, you have to accept the Exchange Subscriber Agreement and subscribe the service accordingly.

Yes, you can still trade via POEMS platforms. If you do not wish to subscribe for the live price, live streaming prices will not be available to you. However, you may continue to view prices with a 15 to 30 minutes delay.
No, it does not matter where you live. To have access to real-time market data and quotes from Bursa Malaysia, you must accept the Exchange Subscriber Agreement.
